Margaret E. (“Peggy”) Narodick is Senior Counsel in the Long Beach office of Holmes Lofstrom, PC., concentrating on franchise matters. She is a graduate of Loyola University of Chicago Law School, has been involved in franchising for almost 25 years, and was previously staff counsel to McDonalds Corporation, Vice President of Century 21 Real Estate Corporation and General Counsel of Cruise Holidays International. Her experience includes franchise system design, compliance with state and federal franchise laws, operating system compliance issues, supplier and licensing arrangements, advertising fund administration, franchise advisory groups and relationship matters and international franchise development. She has lectured on related topics for both the International Franchise Association and the California State Bar Association. She has served as a member of the Franchise Law Committee of the California State Bar’s Business Law Section and was involved in that role as a drafter for legislative proposals embodied in recent amendments to the California Franchise Investment Law. She is a past co-chair of the Education Subcommittee for the Franchise Law Committee and regularly assisted in developing and presenting programs for other attorneys on its behalf. |
